Asserting a potential upheaval, Georgieva’s assessment suggests that AI could reshape as much as 40 percent of job roles internationally, while numbers could surpass 60 percent in technologically advanced nations such as the USA and the UK. However, the IMF’s projections paint a sobering picture, predicting that up to half of the roles in advanced economies could be at risk due to AI’s rapid progress.
